Designed to introduce students to an historical and intellectual survey of Western and non-Western art, as well as art appreciation, the course focuses on art forms from the Paleolithic to the Modern period based upon history, style, meaning and social context.

Invited to work with NY based artist to construct “Big with Rift” sculpture installation; organizing volunteer high school and alumni from Oakmont on a site-specific sculpture created from newspaper and flora in an historic abandoned barn foundation. Featured on WBUR radio and website, cover story in Sentinel and Enterprise newspaper, Wild Apples art and literature journal, and Metro West Daily newspaper
